You'll need

- leftover yarn, in various colours, weight for needles 4,5 to 6,5 mm

- a tunisian crochet hook size 9 or 10 mm
- a normal crochet hook size 6 mm for the edges

You need to know to cast on and make tunisian simple stitch

and normal crochet single stitch if you want to make an edge afterwards

The point of using the thick hook is, that you can mix yarn of different thickness and type, without it being very noticeable.

10 stitches equals 10 cm (not extremely important if it's a bit less or a bit more)

Before you start, arrange the colours of your yarn in the order you want it to appear. 

(I chose light to dark pinks, off white edge)

Decide an approx. size for your blanket 

(it can always be made wider if you still have yarn left over)

The blanket is made from the long edge.

Each row consist of a forward pass and a return pass.

When changing colour at the return pass (from the left) you mix the colours.
When changing colour on the forward pass, (from the right) you create a massive colour.

INSTRUCTIONS:

Chain 90 stitches on the normal hook in off white and crochet one line of sc.

Change to your tunisian hook and pick up all the stitches.

Tun. crochet 3 1/2 rows in the lightest colour (here, off white).

*When at the left edge, before starting the return pass, change the yarn to the second colour,
and do a return and a forward pass.

Change back to the first colour and work a return and a forward pass, and change back to to the second colour*

Repeat till you have 3 mixed lines*

Work 3 1/2 solid colour rows of the second colour, until you need to change to the third colour in the return pass.

Repeat from * to * changing colour every 3 ½ row

Keep repeating 3 lines of solid colour- 3 lines of 'mixed' with the slightly darker colour.

When you have made the 3 lines in the darkest colour, reverse the colours, and make each colour change lighter instead.

End back with the lightest colour and cast off with a line of sc.

If you want to make an edge at the two sides, use sc to match the two other sides.

To make the lines appear even try to hold the no. of colour lines as close to 3 - 4 as possible.

- and just continue with the next colour in line.

Du skal bruge

- reste garn, i forskellige farver, hæklenål ml.  4,5 til 6,5 mm

- en tunesisk nål 9 eller 10 mm

- en synål 6 mm for enderne

Du skal kunne lave tunesiske simple stitch (ret)

Gauge: 10 masker passer med 10 cm
(ikke vigtigt, hvis det er lidt mindre eller lidt mere)

Pointen med at bruge den tykke nål er,
at du kan blande garn af forskellig tykkelse og type,
uden at det er særligt mærkbart.

Før du starter, arranger farverne på dit garn i den rækkefølge,
du ønsker de skal bruges.

(Jeg valgte lys til mørke pink, off white kant)

Beslut en ca. størrelse til din tæppe

(det kan altid gøres bredere, hvis du har garn til overs)

Tæppet er lavet fra den lange kant.

Hver række består af et frem linie og en tilbage linie.

Når der skiftes farve på tilbage linien (fra venstre) blander du farverne.
Når der skiftes farve på frem linien, (fra højre) du danner en massiv farve.

VEJLEDNING:

Kæd 90 masker på normal hæklenål i hvid (kantfarven) og hækl en linje fm.

Skift til din tunesiske nål og saml masker op.

Lav 3 1/2 rækker i den lyseste farve (her, hvid).

* Når du er i venstre side, før du starter tilbage linien, ændres garn til den anden farve,
og der laves en tilbage linie og en frem linie.

Skift tilbage til den første farve og lav en tilbage linie og en frem linie,
og skift tilbage til den anden valgte farve *

Gentag indtil du har 3 blandede linier *

Lav nu 3 1/2 ensfarvede rækker af den anden farve, indtil du skal ændre til den tredje farve i tilbage linien.

Gentag fra * til * for at skifte farve hver 3 ½ række.

Gentag 3 linier af solid farve - 3 linier "blandet" med den efterfølgende farve.

Når du har lavet de 3 linier i den mørkeste farve, vend farve forløbet,
og gør hver farve lysere i stedet.

Afslut med den lyseste farve og luk med en linje af fm.

Hvis du ønsker at lave en kant på de to sider, bruge fm til at matche de to andre sider.

For at linierne så ens som muligt hold tallet af rækker så tæt på 3 - 4 som muligt.

- og bare fortsætte med den næste farve på linien .
